SYNOPSIS |
|
A renowned
theatre critic, Sheridan Whiteside, dines at
the home of an ordinary family, slips on the
doorstep, and breaks a hip. Unable to be
moved, he is confined in the family's home for
six weeks. Chaos prevails as exotic gifts
inundate the household and Whiteside's
multitudinous visitors overwhelm and hold the
family hostage. |
