Ernest Zulia & Robert Fulgham
Since fourth grade, Ernest Zulia has been concocting theatre pieces
and directing productions for audi-ences from his backyard, to major
regional theatres around the United States, to international stages in
Asia and Europe. His adaptation of All I Really Need to Know I Learned
in Kindergarten is followed by the sequel Uh-Oh, Here Comes Christmas.
Both pieces were the product of a joyful collaboration with Robert
Fulghum and composer David Caldwell. He has also worked closely with
Academy Award-winning composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz while
developing Magic to Do, a musical revue of the composer's theatre songs,
as well as directing the American premiere of Schwartz and John Caird's
epic musical Children of Eden. A professional director, author and
teacher, Zulia is an alumnus of Northwestern University's Graduate
School of Theatre Arts and now resides in Virginia's Blue Ridge
Mountains, although he tries to spend as much time as possible in the
village of his grandparents on the island of Melos, Greece. He is the
founding director of the International Theatre Laboratory held annually
on the island of Crete.

Robert Fulghum is the author of several best-selling books including:
All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten, It Was on Fire When
I Lay Down on It, Uh-Oh, Maybe (Maybe Not), From Beginning to End: The
Rituals of Our Lives, True Love and Words I Wish I Wrote, setting
records at the top of the New York Times bestseller list. There are
currently more than 15 million copies of his books in print, published
in 27 languages in 93 countries. Philosopher, humanitarian, world
traveler, teacher, accomplished musician and conductor, painter,
sculptor, husband, father and grandfather, Fulghum is truly a modern
Renaissance man.
